Mr Douglas has been working in renewable energy for 20 years. He is currently the Deputy CEO of SolarPower Europe, a member-led association based in Brussels representing over 200 organisations. He is also the coordinator of the RE-Source Platform and the Co-Chairman of the Global Solar Council (GSC), the representative body for the entire global solar PV sector at an international level, representing over 2000 solar companies around the world.

As of 1st August 2018, Tomas is a Vice President within the Energy & Infrastructure team at the Green Investment Group, responsible for the origination and structuring of PPAs. Over the past decade, Tomas has worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Statkraft and GE, with the majority of the time spent originating and structuring energy transactions, including both utility and corporate PPAs for small-scale hydro and wind.

Thomas Elgaard Jensen has worked in the energy industry for more than 16 years in various positions. As Energy Trader, Head of Department of Modelling and Analysis, Director of an Energy Hedge Fund and Senior Economist for the Danish TSO (main task was making ancillary services market based and exchangeable – at Danish, Nordic and European level). In his current job, Director, Strategic Business Development, at Energi Danmark, he is responsible for strategic business development, M&A, regulatory affairs and R&D projects.

Viviana Ciancibello has over ten years’ experience in commercial roles at financial commodity exchanges. She is currently responsible for the integration of renewables in the European Power Derivatives segment at EEX. In particular, Viviana Ciancibello focuses on how PPAs and increasing merchant risk are affecting the hedging needs of EEX members and the wider players in renewable energy industry.

Jonas Metzger is in charge of investments at KGAL. He has 20+ years of investment experience in the sector and has an impressive track record buying infrastructure assets on all five continents of the world. With KGAL the focus is on renewable assets in Europe and the investments are done out of KGAL´s latest EUR 500 million fourth fund. Jonas is dually educated as an engineer from a prestigious US University and with additional degrees in both finance and economics from the University of Stockholm.

A position he’s held since 2015. WindEurope is the voice of the European wind industry. It represents the whole value chain of onshore and offshore wind across Europe and has more than 400 members. It engages Governments and other stakeholders on policy and regulation. It organises industry exhibitions, conferences and workshops. And it coordinates publicly-funded R&D in wind. Dickson is also Chairman of the Advisory Council of ENTSO-E and a Visiting Professor at the Bucharest School of Economics. Prior to joining WindEurope he was a UK civil servant for 16 years then ran public affairs at Alstom.

With more than a decade of experience in origination and structuring of renewable energy transactions, Dirk is an impressive proven track record in European renewables, including recent landmark PPA deals. Dirk is responsible for implementation of new business propositions and markets for Centrica Energy Trading’s renewable energy portfolio which totals approx. 7.000 MW installed capacity.
Jan Serup Hylleberg

Jan has held the position as CEO for Wind Denmark since 2008. As CEO, Jan Serup Hylleberg has been conducting the interest of the industry in matters such as energy means, test facilities, export promotion and competitiveness. Hylleberg has contributed to the establishment of State of Green, Viden om Vind APQP4Wind and Danish Wind Export Association. Further he is a board member of WindEurope and State of Green. Finally he acts as observer in EIC and LORC

Mikkel has been working with PPA’s for renewables since 2012 focusing on onshore and offshore wind. Mikkel comes from a position as Director, Head of Origination at Danske Commodities where he was heading up the Orgination activities within renewables (+6GW), Conventionals (500MW) and Consumption (+20TWh) across Europe. At ONE, he advises on long term PPA’s in Nordics and the UK. Mikkel has extensive experience in both long and short term deals (1-15 years), and he has for the past two years been responsible for the Danish portfolio of +1 GW onshore wind.

Jørgen has more than 10 years of experience with purchasing electricity at Scandinavia’s largest customer foundry Vald. Birn. A/S. Through the many years, Jørgen has made many types of agreement within the purchase / trading of electricity related products. Today, Jørgen handles the entire purchase for the tre Danish foundries that have a total consumption of 125 GWh.
